To achieve the ambitious objectives of iSwitch, we are currently aiming to recruit a pool of talented, energetic, highly motivated young scientists at the Early-Stage Researcher (ESR, i.e. pre-doctoral) level. Each researcher will benefit from a broad interdisciplinary training programme including both local (e.g. individual research project, lecture courses at the host institution) and network-wide (e.g. research secondments, training events such as workshops, schools and conferences at other nodes) activities. The advertised positions are available starting from 1st January 2015. All available positions will be posted on EURAXESS. Women are strongly encouraged to apply!

Eligible Researchers:
All researchers recruited in iSwitch must be Early-Stage Researchers (ESRs). ESRs shall, at the time of recruitment by the host organisation, be in the first four years (full-time equivalent research experience) of their research careers and not yet have been awarded a doctoral degree. The recruitment of each individual ESR will be supported for a minimum of 3 months and up to a maximum of 36 months.

Conditions of Mobility of Researchers:
Researchers can be of any nationality. They are required to undertake transnational mobility (i.e. move from one country to another) when taking up their appointment. One general mobility rule applies to the appointment of researchers:

At the time of recruitment by the host beneficiary, researchers must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of their host beneficiary for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the reference date.
